A Guided Writing Experience for Midlife Clarity & Meaning

Journal Your Journey Journaling Workshop

Midlife has a way of surfacing questions we can no longer ignore. You may feel restless, uncertain, and aware that something needs to shift, but are unsure what or how.

You’ve gathered insight. You’ve done inner work. You’ve searched for answers. And yet… something still feels unsettled.

Journal Your Journey is a guided writing experience designed to help you slow down, reflect intentionally, and reconnect with the wisdom that already lives within you.

This isn’t about becoming a better writer.

It’s about becoming more honest with yourself — gently, safely, and at your own pace.

Why Writing?

Because when we don’t create space to listen inward, our patterns keep repeating.

We stay busy.
We search outside ourselves.
We avoid the quiet questions.

Writing creates space.
It slows the mind.
It reveals what’s been beneath the surface.
It allows insight to emerge without pressure or performance.

You may be surprised by what you already know.

Not Sure If You're Ready?

You don’t have to be. This experience is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

If you’re still deciding, take a moment to read through the FAQs below — they may help you find clarity.

What This Experience Offers:

Journal Your Journey is a 90-minute facilitated writing experience held live on Zoom.

If you’ve journaled before but felt like you were circling the same thoughts… this experience offers structure, depth, and guided reflection to help you move beyond surface-level awareness.

This is not a lecture. It is a facilitated experience.

Through thoughtfully designed prompts and intentional pauses, you’ll be invited to:

• Settle mental noise and write into what feels stuck
• Notice recurring patterns and emotional themes
• Gently explore what may be ready to shift
• Strengthen trust in your own inner voice

No sharing is required. Everything you write is for you.

What We'll Explore Together:

During this 90-minute guided session, you’ll experience:

• A grounding opening to help you settle inward
• An introduction to multiple journaling approaches, with guided practice and insight into when and how each method can support clarity and growth
• Quiet, uninterrupted writing time
• Gentle guidance throughout
• A closing reflection to help you carry insight forward

You will also receive a downloadable workbook to use during and after the session.

What If I’m Not Ready to Face Everything?

You don’t have to be. This experience is intentionally paced.

You will never be asked to share. You will never be pushed beyond your comfort zone. You are invited to explore only what feels ready.

Sometimes the first step isn’t diving deep, it’s simply creating space to listen.

Resistance is welcome here. Curiosity is enough.

Clarity doesn’t come from searching harder. It comes from listening inward.

What People Are Saying:

“I wasn’t sure what would come up when I started writing, but I trusted the process. As the words unfolded, I found clarity I didn’t even know I was holding. It reminded me that we often carry our own answers — we just need the space to hear them.”
~Laura G., Chester Springs, PA
"I use journaling as a way to write to people I miss or when I need to work through forgiveness. It’s become something really personal for me, and it always leaves me feeling calmer and more at peace.”
~Thomas M., West Chester, PA
“I honestly didn’t think journaling was for me. I didn’t believe in it at all at first. But once I started, it naturally became a habit, and it helped me get so much clearer about what I was feeling and what I wanted.”
~Michele B., West Chester, PA

No, you do not, and you don’t need to pay for a Zoom account either. All you need is the access link and information to attend the workshop.

While Journal Your Journey builds on concepts introduced in Write for Insight, it’s not required. If you’re comfortable with basic journaling and ready for a deeper, guided writing experience, you’re welcome to join.

No. This workshop is open to both men and women navigating midlife transitions, questions of meaning, or a sense of feeling stuck. The process is human — not gender-specific.

Yes. This workshop can be especially meaningful during seasons of change. Journaling offers a grounded way to process what you’re moving through and to reconnect with your inner compass.

At the same time, this is not a therapy group or grief counseling session. If you are in acute emotional distress or need clinical support, please seek care from a licensed professional. This space is designed for reflective insight, clarity, and personal growth.

Yes. This is a live, guided journaling experience with time for writing and reflection. You’ll be offered gentle prompts and space to write in real time, at your own pace.

Not at all. This is not about being a “good writer.” It’s about being honest on the page. The prompts are designed to guide you gently, and you can write as simply or as freely as feels natural to you.

That’s exactly what the guided prompts are for. You won’t be staring at a blank page without direction. The structure is designed to help you move past overthinking and into honest reflection.

No. Sharing is always optional. This is a respectful, private environment. You are welcome to keep your reflections entirely to yourself.

No. This is not therapy, and it’s not a group processing session. It’s a guided writing experience focused on insight, awareness, and clarity. Many people find it deeply meaningful, but the emphasis is on reflection — not clinical work.

Journaling can sometimes bring up feelings — and that’s okay. You will be held in a calm, supportive space. You are always in control of your experience and can step back at any time.

If you feel even a quiet nudge that something within you wants space, this is for you. You don’t need to be in crisis. You only need to be willing to listen inward.

Because this is an intimate, guided experience, live participation is strongly encouraged.

The session will be recorded. The replay will only be available for registered attendees for a limited time
